Indian paintbrushes, prairie cornflowers, black-eyed susans, and bluebonnets. Every spring and summer, native flowers appear as if by magic in our yards, parks and along our highways. In this workshop, you will capture the beauty of a Texas bluebonnet with embroidery.
Class will include an overview of embroidery techniques including: selecting materials, preparing your hoop, “painting” with thread using the satin stitch and loop stitch. Embroidery takes time and shouldn’t be rushed. Time outside of class will be needed to finish your work.
