In this friendly beginner workshop students will learn to paint botanical studies of Texas wildflowers. Step by step instruction will guide you through breaking down the components of petals, leaves and stems. Our workshop begins with an introduction to basic watercolor vocabulary and techniques. Students will learn to manipulate brushes to make tapered strokes, thin lines and brush prints. Kit includes watercolor papers. Students may use studio brushes and paints, but we recommend purchasing your own (see below).

We recommend that you purchase:
-round brush #16 Princeton Heritage brush
-a set of watercolors

*If you would like additional materials such paints, paper or brushes, please purchase from our website and we will add to your kit that you receive on class day.
