February 2 Watercolor: Miniature Landscapes

Miniature Watercolor Landscapes
CLASS DATE: Sunday, February 2, 11-1:30pm

In this friendly and relaxed beginner workshop students will learn to create six miniature landscapes and time permitting, a larger (but still small) final landscape. Our workshop begins with an introduction to basic watercolor techniques. Students will explore brush stroke and printing techniques, wet on wet vs. dry on wet, lifting as well color mixing. You will create a technique guide to use as a reference for your new favorite hobby. All materials provided.

Kit includes:
-5” x 7” watercolor paper (I have masked squares with tape to create frames for the mini-landscapes)
-5” x 7” watercolor paper for technique study
-round brush and detail brush
-students will use watercolor provided by the studio
-watercolor paint set (optional, click here to add)
