In this friendly beginner workshop students will be inspired by seasonal fruit and veg! We will look at our favorite farmer's market produce and learn to paint colorful still life studies. Step by step instruction will guide you through creating volume with layers of color. Our workshop begins with an introduction to basic watercolor vocabulary and techniques. Students will learn to create shifts in value from light to dark to make our fruits and roots move from flat to round. Our kit includes watercolor papers. Students can use studio brushes and paints, but we recommend purchasing your own (see below).
