Watercolor: Vessels, Vases and Volume Sunday, September 20, 2-4pm Instructor: Shannon Driscoll
Explore the beauty of watercolor in this friendly and relaxed beginner painting workshop. You will create a painting inspired by the organic form of vessels and vases. Learn to use watercolor and Sumi ink to create color blends similar to glazes used in ceramics. Learn to play with symmetry and let go of perfection, Class will begin with an introduction to basic techniques such as wet on wet vs. dry on wet, and color mixing. Students will learn how to layer and blend colors to create volume and shadows. All materials provided.
