Rag Rug Weaving Workshop

Learn the basics of floor loom weaving, while participating in the sustainable practice of using up scrap fabric for a handwoven rag rug. Choose from a variety of cloth provided, or bring your own sentimental pieces from home** to incorporate into your very own rug. Rugs will be tied off and finished with fringe - ready to be used in your home right away!
This workshop will serve as an introduction to floor loom operation and will teach you how to employ simple weave structures. No prior weaving knowledge is needed for this workshop, finished rug size: 18” X 24”. Choose from the morning or afternoon session.

**Any fabric brought from home should be cut to 1.5” strips ahead of time, so you have plenty of time to weave during class! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
