STUDIO POLICY 2024-2025
No lessons Sept 2, Oct 31, Nov 25-29, Dec 23-Jan 6, Jan 20, Feb 17, March 10-14. In case of weather or closings, we will follow DISD. Virtual will remain an option if there is weather, illness, or you just want to stay home.

Spring Recital - Sunday, May 18, 2-3pm
Books:
New students, I will order your first books, and you can reimburse me. Returning students, please bring books to our first and all lessons. I will send links to purchase new books as needed throughout the year. Expect $25-50/year for books.
Practice:
To progress and enjoy music lessons, practice your teacher’s instructions at least three times, eat good food before, rest, and bring books to every lesson. And have fun!
Absence:
Tuition is for enrollment in a school-year program. Missed lessons are not refunded or made up unless necessary to prepare for an upcoming recital. If homebound, please use the virtual option. In cases of emergency, family death, or illness, we will do our best to make up the lost lesson. If I need to cancel, we can attempt a makeup time, or if it’s inconvenient for you, I will refund you the canceled lesson.
Tuition:
Payment is made to Oil and Cotton in the shop or online. Options for one yearly, two sessions, or eight even monthly payments are listed in the drop down menu. Only a sibling discount is available for families with more than one piano student.
