Explore watercolor paints in this friendly and relaxed beginner painting workshop and create a painting inspired by seasonal foliage. Class will begin with an introduction to basic techniques such as wet on wet vs. dry on wet, elegant brush work, and color mixing. Students will learn how to layer a design and shift color palettes to reflect the changing seasons. Complete a radial design composition that works great for a holiday card border or background to text or photograph. All materials provided.
