Camp Description:
Marigolds, known as cempasúchil, are the symbolic heart of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Their bright orange and yellow colors and strong scent guide the spirits of ancestors back to the homes of the living. Campers will learn to draw and paint these beautiful.

Students will leave with an understanding of: 
-mixing warm colors to build a brilliant palette
-layers brush strokes to create petals and flowers
-brush printing leaves
