Oil and Cotton x Le Sol: Hikaru Dorodango in the Garden
Sunday, April 12 , 2 - 5 pm
Instructor: Kenley Turner
Location: Private Home in Oak Cliff
Join us in a beautiful private garden for a step by step how to make a dorodango. What is hikaru dorodango? It's the Japanese art form of polishing a mud ball into a perfect sphere. Use this time to build community and appreciate nature together. Continue this practice to use soil from memorable places in your life and create keep sakes for them. This is a playful, kinesthetic, sensory experience meant to put you into the "flow state" of making.
"This process is simple, but seems like alchemy" - Bruce Gardener
