Description: Experiment with a variety of materials and techniques in this classic studio art camp. We will imagine ourselves relaxing in the park as we learn lovely drawing and painting techniques of the plein air Impressionist masters. Picnic with the great Bard, draw his portrait and interpret his words. Create a story and puppets, promotional poster for your play, and collaborate with fellow campers to put on a mock amphitheater production, complete with kings and queens, princesses and pucks.
*This summer our theme camps are based on the concept of ART AS ENTERTAINMENT. We will use our imaginations to take us into the Hills of Hollywood, Shakespeare in the Park, Fabulous Las Vegas and Thrilling Themeparks. Join us for an outrageous creative ride!
