Dec 8 Machine Sewing: Christmas Stocking
Machine Sewing: Christmas Stocking
Date: Sunday, December 8, 3-6:30pm
Instructor: Jesse Bartlett
Great for both beginner and experienced sewers alike!
In this workshop students will be guided by expert seamstress Jesse Bartlett and follow along as we sew a Christmas stocking from a beginner friendly sewing pattern. This workshop will build on students’ knowledge of foundational sewing terminology and skills, and help each person develop the confidence to continue stitching beyond the class. Best of all, this Nordic inspired design has a POCKET!
Students will leave class with at least one finished handcrafted stocking to treasure for years to come!
Students are required to bring their own sewing machines to class (or rent one of our 4 studio machines for $10, first come first serve). While open to beginners, we ask that students know how to thread their machines and sew a straight line prior to class. Fabric will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring any favorite fabrics and threads! Upon registration, students will be sent a detailed materials list.
This class is open to confident beginner or intermediate level sewists. Students should know to thread their own machines and sew a straight line prior to class. This workshop is open to those 18 years old & over.
