Willow Wolfe Callia Filbert Fan brushes are made with an innovative blend of flagged synthetic bristle which holds heavy-bodied paint with control. They are designed for oil, acrylic, and watercolour, and contain no animal hair.

A fan brush creates a thick-and-thin lined appearance in a single stroke. The fan is a staple for landscapes and foliage due to the shape of the brush, which spreads (or fans) out, allowing paint to be applied in multiple directions in a single stroke. The filbert fan is a blend of multi-diameter flagged tip bristle. The firm filaments are split at the tip, creating the ability to hold heavy-bodied paint or to drybrush by removing excess paint. Each brush features a lacquered handle and solid brass ferrule.
