In this friendly beginner workshop Oil and Cotton introduces students to the world of natural dyes through INDIGO blue! Class starts with an overview of making a dye vat. Students will learn to create patterns with traditional Japanese resist dye techniques known as shibori. Students will leave with two hand dyed bandanas or tea towels with the option to purchase additional dyeables and take home dye kits in our shop.
Friday night beginner workshops are fun, easy, and a great way to meet new friends. Bring your own beverage or some potluck to share.
