Students will learn useful techniques for creating an architectural painting, such as sketching using the grid method, wet-on-wet watercolor painting, layering with watercolor, and color mixing using a limited palette. By the end of class you will create a beautiful watercolor portrait of your own home!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eStudents will need to bring a printed photo of their house, no bigger than 8x10”, which they will use as a reference for their painting. Her work is filled with expressive and minimalist pieces, drawing inspiration from nature and her inner world. Much of her work centers around mental health, empowerment and mindfulness. Her watercolor workshops focus on learning not only new painting techniques but also enjoying watercolor as a form of mindfulness.
