In this sweet and friendly beginner workshop Oil and Cotton introduces students to the world of natural dyes through INDIGO! Class starts with an overview of making an indigo vat with a beginner friendly kit. Students will learn to create patterns with traditional Japanese resist dye techniques known as shibori. Students will leave with 2 hand dyed flour sack tea towels. You also have the option of taking home an indigo kit to do more backyard and kitchen dyeing at home.
