Students will learn useful techniques for creating a layered landscape with a combination of wet-on-wet watercolor painting, glazing, and color mixing using a limited palette. By the end of class you will create a beautiful watercolor landscape from observation. Weather permitting, we will meet at \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/twelvehills.org\/\"\u003eTwelve Hills Nature Center\u003c\/a\u003e in Oak Cliff.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eStudents will need to be prepared for an outdoor class. Bring a blanket or chair if you prefer. Her work is filled with expressive and minimalist pieces, drawing inspiration from nature and her inner world. Much of her work centers around mental health, empowerment and mindfulness. Her watercolor workshops focus on learning not only new painting techniques but also enjoying watercolor as a form of mindfulness.
