March 12 You In Yellow and Orange Morning Camp

Camp Description:
This spring we are celebrating COLOR. Each morning camp will be dedicated to a color. In our YOU IN YELLOW AND ORANGE Camp we will explore the work of mixed media artist Njideka Akunyili Crosby. Camp will begin with discussion of home, where we are from and how this informs who we are. Next we will cut, paste and create a mixed media collage of ourselves within an interior that connects to our sense of place. Students are welcome, but not required to bring photos, printouts, paper ephemera and fabric pieces that capture a sense of home to be used in their work.
