Class Description:
Get ready for a fun and creative night out! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll dive into the world of tattoo flash painting by choosing a pre-drawn design to line, shade, and color. You’ll learn the classic spit-shading technique, a key element in creating the iconic paintings that hang in tattoo shops! We’ll also give you a quick intro to the process behind flash art, so you can appreciate the craft even more. Bring your favorite drink to sip on—whether it’s a fun night with friends, a cute date night, or just a chill way to end your week. At the end of the class, you’ll walk away with your very own completed flash painting and a new creative skill to show off!

Artist Bio:
Z Yousif is an artist born and raised in Houston, TX with a diverse background in instructing entertainment art classes for both children and adults. Their passion and connection to art has grown throughout their artistic career, from instructing, to art handling, and even a tattoo apprenticeship. Now with Oil and Cotton they are sharing the technique and care they have for their craft with their students, teaching a new workshop about flash painting with spit-shading. Their classes are fun and laid-back, focusing on a comfortable and joyful approach to learning and creating.
