Seeing Through Drawing
This class offers an approach to observational drawing which can serve as a foundation for any artist’s personal practice. Designed for beginners, as well as seasoned artists, this weekly class will introduce concepts and techniques that are accessible yet vast in their application. A drawing practice can empower anyone to see their visual world with greater focus, detail, and acuity. While the course semester is structured, the environment is relaxed, social, and engaging where everyone is encouraged to bring a snack and beer/wine. Lectures, demonstrations, worksheets, and slideshows will be provided.
Each student will be given a kit of materials which will be used over the course of the class.
