She teaches book and paper arts with a focus on material science and the history of handcraft. Her adult daily creative practice weekly class explores various artists' techniques through history by closely examining their work with the eye of a scientist and the hands of an artist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe received her Bachelor of Art in Art History with a focus on American folk art from the University of North Texas and her Masters Degree from the Kilgarlin Center for the Preservation of the Cultural Record at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied book and paper conservation in 2006.
